Biography

With 20 years of public-private real estate experience in the Washington Metro Area, he brings expertise across the complete project lifecycle from initial strategy through construction completion. His dual background directing WMATA’s transit-oriented development program and founding Wall Development Group provides comprehensive understanding of both public agency priorities and private development execution. Stan’s approach focuses on creating financially viable projects that generate measurable benefits for transit systems, local communities, and development partners.

Stan’s transit-oriented development expertise centers on helping public agencies unlock the economic potential of their infrastructure investments. His success reinvigorating WMATA’s TOD program and advancing multiple projects through approval, negotiation, and solicitation phases demonstrates how strategic asset management can create significant financial returns and ridership growth. This experience enables him to help transit agencies and municipalities design development frameworks that balance revenue generation with community development goals while strengthening regional connectivity and economic competitiveness.

Sustainable redevelopment drives Stan’s methodology for transforming challenging urban sites into valuable community assets through comprehensive environmental and infrastructure planning. His approach to complex projects requiring wetland restoration, flood mitigation, and significant infrastructure development illustrates how strategic problem-solving can turn site constraints into development opportunities. This expertise helps clients identify underutilized properties that others might overlook while creating implementable strategies that address environmental regulations, community needs, and market demand simultaneously.

Stan’s focus on community partnerships reflects his understanding that successful development requires aligning diverse stakeholder interests around shared economic and social goals. His work strengthening relationships between transit agencies, local jurisdictions, and development communities demonstrates how strategic engagement and policy coordination can streamline development processes while building lasting support. This collaborative approach enables clients to navigate complex approval processes more efficiently while creating projects that serve multiple community priorities and generate sustainable long-term value.
