As a member of HR&A’s Operations Team, Tom serves as senior deputy for all contracting, compliance, and risk management functions.
As Director of Compliance, based in Los Angeles, Tom leads all aspects of compliance management at HR&A, including management of existing workflows and proactively enhancing the firm’s systems and policies.
Prior to this position at HR&A, Tom served as Operations Manager involving responsibilities across multiple departments including accounting, compliance, risk management, operations, marketing, and business development. His diverse background includes roles as a project engineer for a construction management company, where he supported cost estimating and contracting efforts, and as a licensed sales producer for a multinational insurance company, laying the foundation for his risk management and compliance expertise.
Tom holds an AA in Business Management from Evergreen Valley College in San Jose, CA, a BS in Business Administration and a Master’s in Business Administration from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. Outside of work, Tom is passionate about the outdoors, dodgeball, and his young family.
